Medical And Surgical Instruments Photography by PPM NZ
A few of weeks ago we were asked to create some images of some L.R products an Australian brand of medical Instruments imported by a NZ company right here in Auckland.
The brief:
To create some very high quality images for usage in their new printed catalogue and websites and marketing materials.Projection of quality is everything with products but especially with medical products. Knowledge of imaging standards of this style is also paramount for businesses covering this industry.
Brief: All medical instruments photography requires all images to be free from high contrast light, reflections and to illustrate the functional objects with no distortion of items inherent in the image. And keep ratios the same across all images.
These images are for usage in our printed catalogue and online private client facing store.
All medical instruments have either matt brushed metal or polished metal surfaces, so special care is always needed when photographing this style of object.
Special care was also given to the retouching of these items to remove minor blemishes to the metal products.
This was a high volume project. All items have isolating clipping paths added to the images, making them ready for re-styling and usage with removed backgrounds in catalogues digital multi shots etc.
I'm really happy with the results we create for them and they where too!
